A personal electronic device that allows next level private secure conversations via bluetooth connection with user mobiles.  A fully self contained, sans app and backend device utilizing original technology (signal processing, cryptography, embedded programming)  allowing true end-to-end secured voice communications. Product is marketed towards privacy sensitive business professionals.


role

Responsible for external hardware design, idenitification and incorporation of user interaction touch points and features.   Worked with team of engineers, scientists, and researchers.

concepts

Two part mold is explored first with tension fit closure to explore ideal size and shape. Experimented with G2 curvature.

material

Exploration in surface finish include faux stone, real stone, or textured abs.  The intention was for a elevated product with certain aesthetics, low key yet visually intriguing. 

protos

Currently a two piece openable case for engineer’s ease of access to pcb and circuitry.  Final version will have snap lock case for production, eliminating need for screws and other securement.
